LIMITED WARRANTY AND CARE INSTRUCTINS:
Most residential surfaces come with a 5-year warranty unless
otherwise noted in writing. Commercial customers receive a 1-year
warranty. Kitchen sinks are excluded. The warranty covers peeling
of the glaze, cracking, and other general failure of adhesion
to the surface, subject to the following conditions:
1. If possible, do not enter the work area for at least 8 hours
or limit movement in the area to prevent lint, hair or dust to
fall on the surfaces before they are dry.
2. Do not let water remain or let the surface get wet for 24
to 72 hours following reglazing.
3. Do not let water remain on surface for an extended period
of time for the first 2 weeks.
4. No hair spray or aerosols are to be used anywhere near the
reglazed surface for at least 72 hours.
5. We recommend cleaning with non-abrasive agents only.
NOTE: Always read the label of the cleaning product for its
compatibility with reglazed or painted surfaces. Harsh chemicals
and detergents such as "Soft Scrub" may cause severe
damage to the reglazed surface.
6. Wet objects such as bath mats, washcloths or soap are not
to be continually left on the reglazed surface.
7. Physical damage such as chips and scratches caused by falling
objects, tools, toys or mistreatment are not covered.
8. Staining caused by chemicals, dyes or hair treatments, and
leaking or dripping faucets is specifically excluded.
9. Heat exceeding 350 degrees or direct flame can discolor the
finish (Gas appliances are not warranted.)
10. This warranty does not cover plumbing problems, rusted surfaces,
shower doors, mildew or caulk problems caused by excessive moisture
from shower parts, structural conditions and movement of the
fixtures, tile or caulk.
COLOR
The standard color for reglazing is white. Any color other than
white requires mixing and MUST BE APPROVED BY THE CUSTOMER before
the finish can be applied. Please choose carefully. Once the
color is applied it cannot be changed except by completely reglazing
the surface at the customer’s expense.
ELECTRICAL AND PLUMBING
Unless the company otherwise notifies you, our technicians are
not trained, equipped, licensed or authorized to do electrical
or plumbing work. If they remove any appliance or replace fixtures
at your request, it is done solely as a courtesy and the responsibility
for any damage is yours. Our technicians may loosen or remove
handles, spouts, drain pieces, or overflow covers and will be
responsible for returning those pieces to their original locations,
unless the age or general decay of the pipes or fixtures makes
it impossible. If you are planning to replace your plumbing fixtures,
the old fixtures should be removed before we arrive. New fixtures
can usually be installed after 48 hours but alert your plumber
so that extra care can be taken.
PAINT AND WALLPAPER
If you are re-painting or re-wallpapering, please wait to do
so until after the reglazing has been completed. In order to
protect paint or wallpaper we must mask it. When removed, masking
tape can be expected to occasionally pull up small pieces from
the surface to which it was stuck. If you wish to preserve the
existing paint or wallpaper, please alert the technician, but
even then damage may occur. We will not be held responsible for
replacing your wallpaper or for applying touch-up paint.
PAYMENTS/TERMS - DUE ON COMPLETION
We accept CHECKS with a guarantee card and CASH. We may also
accept MASTERCARD or VISA. On the final day of the job, the technician
will present you with an invoice for the work completed. Please
plan to either be present on the final day to inspect the work
and take care of the payment, or arrange in advance for your
payment to be there when the job has been completed.
